A magical, dreamy collection. Pastels and mint with touches of metallic. It’s a Dr Suess like fashion land. One of my top three favorite spring collections this year.

ALERT! If you fell in love with Marchesa’s Fall 2012 Collection as did I! 

Marchesa’s fall collection this year, is like a super amped version of the spring collection. It has some similarities, especially the gold, white metallic glow. This one blew everything I’ve ever seen away. I couldn’t quite pick what Empire it reminisced of, whether it was roman warrior goddess inspired, or Arabian princess- a fusion of both? The intricateness with the use of gold felt rather baroque. Truly amazing. I loved the shoes, the ones I like to say are arabian inspired.

Ok, so out of all of the Spring collections, ALTUZARRA has become one of my ultimate favorites! Ah, it was so refreshing after being in a Tom Ford (<3) hurricane in the fall. I found my closet full of dark, deep colors - yes beautiful, but I always need to change it up. That’s why I am so very infatuated with the tropical prints and theme from Altuzarra. And the shoes! It was so invigorating to see lighter, strappy, pointed shoes ( which I am in the search of a cheaper alt! ), after the platform chunky heel craze. Anyways, I’ll reference to Altuzarra plenty! So, you should check it out and feel inspired by it.
